Light Boxes by Shane Jones
This is a very short read which was refreshing. Sometimes life feels so busy that to accomplish reading something in a few days feels good. The book is about a town in a war against February. Living in a perpetual winter they must fight back to stay alive and find a way for the sun to come out again. Living in Alberta it often feels like this, winter that never ends. A lot of childhood fantasies like kites, balloons, teacups and secret letters. I enjoyed this read very much, thank you for lending it to me James.
